Your kids are so adorable! I think my camera is not equipped to take people in motion. It always comes out blurry no matter how many shots I take.

Your children are so gorgeous. I especially love Johnny’s look of quiet determination (to do what, I wonder?).
Looks like you’re getting a lot from your new camera, too, with fantastic focus on your subjects and softer backgrounds. I accidentally managed that one time with my camera and haven’t been able to replicate it since!

Thank you! I think Johnny’s after the camera, if I remember correctly. I love that picture, because I feel like it captured the essence of his personality =)
I am LOVING the new camera, and I know it can do even more, if only I can figure out how! The settings on this make it easy to accomplish the soft background look, but I used to sometimes get it to work with my old (fairly nice) point and shoot by standing far away and then zooming in on the subject.
Running shots are so tricky to capture. I either try really hard to get one I like and end up failing miserably, or I just snap randomly without trying hard and get the perfect look.
Lesson learned? Stop trying so hard, I guess.
