All three kids thoroughly enjoyed sticking strips of tissue paper on contact paper to make these simple sun catchers. Lily was especially thrilled to participate!
I’m linking this post up to Science Sunday at Adventures in Mommydom, because it’s a great way for young kids to learn about textures, stickiness, and light’s ability to shine through thin paper.

This is one of Jack’s favorite things to do! I should let him make one again soon. Now that he is cutting I bet he will really enjoy it! I never even think about letting Jesse do this stuff. Mainly I guess because he is taking his nap, but I should. You are so good and so smart to let your kids do these creative things so young!

She is so excited about it!
At some point I will find clear contact paper and actually do something with it.
