Kids love these simple Barbie sleeping bags!

I used the owie doll sleeping bags as a model for these slimmer Barbie doll sleeping bags, substituting flannel for one layer of fleece since the bag is smaller and therefore would be too bulky with two layers of fleece. We sent one off as a blog swap, and the other one has been hidden away for Christmas.
But, don’t Barbie’s eyes look a bit scary in this picture?

Do you happen to have a pattern for a barbie tent ..the tall kind.? thanks Kim T
where do I find the pattern for the Barbie sleeping bag?
Hi Rita,
I didn’t post the pattern since it is adapted from a pattern made by LiEr of ikatbag. You can see her sleeping bags and the link to buy a doll pattern that includes the sleeping bags here (highly recommend the doll pattern): http://www.ikatbag.com/2010/02/you-changed-my-mind.html
Super cute. And, yes, the eyes look scary!
Looks good! I love that it rolls up with the button.

I still maintain I need to do this. Yet another thing to add to my growing list of things to do.

Barbie’s eyes always look scary! We have a lot of dolls around here that could probably use sleeping bags. I’m going to have to think about that. It probably makes a good sewing project for Rebecca to use the machine.

What a great project! I like the polka-dot as well.
And yes, totally frightened by Barbie’s eyes… maybe she could sleep on her stomach. :)

This is adorable Mary Anne! And, yes, Barbie’s eyes are a bit “different” in this picture. Maybe she’s just over tired:-), too much partay with Ken.
Very very very cute! I know Emily will want me to make one for her too!

Oh Barbie has a nice place to sleep now! That’s so cute, I like the polka dot :-)
