Every month I set a few simple goals to add focus to my life. Here are my monthly goals for March 2026.

How was February 2026?
What You'll Find on This Page
February was, honestly a blur. This shorter month always flies, and this year was no exception.
Between everyday life stuff and divorce and health issues, I feel like a lot of the time I’m barely surviving, even though I am so lucky to live in a peaceful place and to have the things I do have. Finding small beauties like the flowers I like to use for these posts helps. So does finding ways to help other people in small ways and just spending face to face time with other humans. I don’t think I’ve ever appreciated the other humans I do have in my life as much as I do this year.
February Goals – Reporting Back
I had a nice month with my kids. We enjoyed telling Emma happy birthday on her 20th. She was pretty busy celebrating with her friends, including one high school friend who her college friends flew out. There is nothing I love more as a mom than to see my college student daughter surrounded by good friends.
I’m mostly keeping on top of school and work, but it is honestly hard. Sewing and music didn’t happen much this month, just because a lot isn’t happening. I enjoyed the times I was able to make time for these activities, though.
I managed to write up Lily’s sewing project blog post, finally! Hopefully I can write up another blog post this month.
Our pets lend a very grounding sense of normalcy to everyday life, and I love that my dog gets me out of doors for daily walks. They don’t care about any of the drama happening inside our home or in the wider world.

Setting Goals for March 2026
Here are my March goals:
- Enjoy taking Anna to a ballet competition. We’ll get to see my oldest daughter Emma, too, and I am really looking forward to that.
- Keep up with work and school.
- Enjoy my kids. They are the best.
- Spend time outside every day.
- Appreciate all the things I do have.

It sounds like February was a good month with some slow healing and good memories and March is going to be stuff to look forward to.
Having things to look forward to is really nice!
