How did May Go?
What You'll Find on This Page
I knew May would be busy, and I was right. I did get most of my May goals accomplished. Blogging did not happen, but that should change this month some, and even more in July.
I got some crafting and music done in May; not as much as I normally would because I was busy with end of school year stuff, my sister visiting (yay!), and Emma’s graduation! I can’t believe I have an adult child who has finished high school.
It was a busy but good month. I also had a procedure done to hopefully correct a back problem that has been consuming 30-70% of my energy these past two years. Fingers crossed it works; it does at least seem to be helping.
Monthly Goals for June 2024
I’m currently sitting at the airport with my three younger kids, en route to visit my family in Florida. I’m really excited to see my parents and my sisters who live nearby. Emma has other very exciting plans that I will probably write about sometime in July. Mike is working.
Here are my goals for this month:
- Enjoy visiting my family! I wish they lived closer, but I’m grateful for planes that make visiting doable.
- Visit Yosemite – for the first time! It’s high time I visited this National Park, after spending years in California. I’m excited. Mike will come on this trip with us, but Emma will be off on her own exciting adventures.
- Play music and craft, as time allows.
I’m stopping there. It’s a busy and mostly fun month.

I must have missed this post! I hope you enjoyed seeing your family in Florida and that your back feels better. I can’t believe that June is over. Hopefully, in July I will finally start blogging again :) Can’t wait to read what E was up to in June.
I visited Yosemite as a kid and have good memories of it, but didn’t get to see much of it. I look forward to hearing what you think of it.
Enjoy visiting family and I look forward to hearing what Emma is doing while you visit family.
I’ve decided to put any sewing project on hold until after the kids leave because then I don’t have to “fight” with W for use of it and who made the mess.
