Setting Monthly Goals for April 2025

Every month, I set a few simple attainable goals to add focus to my life. Here are my monthly goals for April 2025.

How Did I Do With March Goals

I typically keep these goals posts pretty simple, and March was no exception.

We enjoyed having my oldest home for spring break, and we also go to see her when we were at a university near my daugther’s university for one of my youngest daughter’s ballet competitions.

The competitions went well. She’s only been dancing for a couple of years, so she wasn’t there to win, but she danced beautifully and got great feedback from judges. She was pretty excited with the ranking they gave her, too, which was fun.

I am really not a dance competition mom, but it was a good learning experience for all of us.

My version of the 2025 Stitchin' Heaven New Years Quilt - I did start in January, and finished in March.

Finishing this quilt was my biggest March achievement! I don’t have a good photo of it because I had promised it to my 15yo and gave it to her without thinking and then she put it on her bed, which is, after all, its intended use. I might get a photo of the entire finished quilt eventually, but the main thing is it is being used and loved.

This quilt was made following this free pattern and tutorial (I did add the border). I love how it turned out!

I wrote up one new non-goals blog post, about our visit to No. 1 Royal Crescent in Bath, England. This historical site really is a must-see for Jane Austen fans, and I’m glad I finally wrote it up to share.

My Monthly Goals for April 2025

Here are my goals for this month:

  • Enjoy spring break with my three younger kids.
  • Help my 17yo recover from getting wisdom teeth removed.
  • Keep sewing. I have a hand embroidery project that is going slowly, but I am making progress. And I hope to sew some bags for a charity project and maybe make one more for myself this month as part of a sewalong.
  • Keep blogging – hopefully at least two new posts this month. I’ll keep updating old ones, too.
  • Keep playing music.

What are you hoping to accomplish this month?

  1. I’ve been wrestling with my blog for the past month and trying to do some various behind the scenes stuff, so it got me on an updating old blog posts kick, so I’m with you on the updating old posts things.
I look forward to seeing a picture of the whole quilt, what I can see looks gorgeous.
