Setting Monthly Goals for April 2017

Setting monthly goals for April 2017. Set goals month by month to keep them attainable.

Set goals month by month to make and keep them attainable. Monthly goals for April 2017.

I love to set goals month by month to create a loose overall structure for my life and to keep goals realistic and attainable. I set some very simple goals for March that were easy to keep. Emma’s Harry Potter themed eleventh birthday party was a big hit. I enjoyed some nice down time with Mike and the kids, and had a wonderful visit with my best friend from college. Her baby is, of course, adorable. Anna was sad when baby S. had to leave – they became fast friends! My sister C came to visit with her husband and their two sons, and we loved our time with them as well. It was even warm enough to take the kids swimming while they were here, which was especially lucky since our condo is a bit claustrophobic for six kids!

Setting monthly goals: April 2017 edition

Here are my monthly goals for April 2017

  • Enjoy my kids’ spring break! They go to an excellent school, but we are all excited to get some breathing room. Gratitude and mindful living.
  • Make the most of a month with Mike in town. So far he has zero business trips planned for this month – a truly rare occurrence. I imagine something will come up, but he should still be around more than usual. Last month he was in Iowa, Canada, and Massachusetts, and we are ready for a break. Gratitude and mindful living.
  • Work on organizing the house so that we make better use of our resources. Gratitude and mindful living and education.

What are your monthly goals for April 2017? My friend Cassie has some awesome decluttering goals and helpful printables in her monthly goals post, and Cassidy has lots of spring themed goals. Kate writes about balance, purpose, health, and organization in her monthly goals post. Christy wrote about the importance of taking full stops in her monthly goals post. 1. I love how you set simple, monthly goals. Life has been extremely busy lately, but I think a few monthly goals would be helpful for me!

  2. You really do such a good job with organizing your home. It always impresses me when you post how you organize, so I look forward to hearing how the organizing goes.

  3. My April goals include writing a golf memoir with my husband and doing interviews for this over April break when we see his golf buddy. Finish the interview portion of my coaches for How to Coach Girls. I am hoping my son who has a concussion is feeling better; working testing if tumeric will help as well as getting him to drink a lot of water.

  4. Breathing room is a gift! Happy you’ll be able to create some together and catch your breath before the end-of-the-school-year push. I was a teacher, so I know how busy it can be :)

Can’t wait to see what organization systems you dream up. Still love your bed drapes idea- such a great way to carve out space for older hearts!

  5. I’m working on space and area organization. We are doing a HUGE purge in the house to make space and have less. We need to have less right now.

    I love all your goals.
