We don’t have any great climbing trees in our yard, but Johnny found a way around that! We enjoyed a few days of warm weather before heading to Florida, where we had some truly warm weather – so we did a great job of meeting our April goal of spending time outside! Anna even decided that grass is okay:
We got our garden set up, but didn’t do any actual gardening because of our (last-minute thanks to finding an awesome deal on tickets) Florida trip, so that is one goal for May! We did spend a lot of time outside (on a beautiful Florida beach!!!), and Mike got some great landscaping and indoor house work done in our absence! We made great progress on decluttering, and the kids and I really enjoyed our time in Florida – and their time off school before we left.
Goals for May:
- Get unpacked (we are flying home today!) Focus area: simplicity, and responsibility
- Spend lots of time outside. Focus area: gratitude, simplicity, and education.
- Spend lots of time together as a family. Focus area: gratitude
I know I promised you news a while ago. It’s coming. Just not yet. :)
