Setting Goals for July 2018 – Monthly Goals

I love setting monthly goals to stay organized and focus on what matters most. Are you setting goals for July 2018?

June flew by in a flurry of packing, cleaning, Father’s Day, our 17-year-anniversary, a Kindness Camp run  by my kids, and the beginning of our summer in the United Kingdom. I used my usual approach to packing for trips with kids, adding in a DIY Travel Journal that’s been very useful in terms of keeping them busy doing good things. We made it to Edinburgh via an epic 24-hour route, and are enjoying our time here immensely. I’ve taken loads of photos on the trip; my favorites end up on Instagram. Our internet here isn’t very good, but I’m still hoping to get some blogging done. Week two of our 2018 summer travelogue will hopefully go live tomorrow!

Setting Goals for July 2018 – Monthly Goals

July is a travel month, so my goals are quite simple:

  • Enjoy our travels! This month we will all be in Scotland and England. I am also spending about 48 hours in Vienna, Austria. It’s my twenty year high school reunion, and I’ll meet up with some of my best friends from high school.
  • Help the kids finish their sewing projects for Sew a Softie Month. Anna’s project is sitting partially sewn on the kitchen counter. Lily’s project has a pattern but is not yet cut out.
  • Write up reviews of the new 3Doodler Create+ 3D printing pen, as well as the 3Doodler Start for younger children. We were sent both to review, and the kids are loving them.
  • Celebrate my 38th birthday!

What are your goals for July 2018? Taking some time off blogging is one of Cassie’s goals. You may have noticed that happening here lately, too. Share goals in the comments below, on my Facebook page, or by tagging me on Instagram
