Mike helped the kids take apart this phone over the weekend. After taking the phone apart, we visited How Stuff Works to learn more – very educational for both me and the kids! Emma was very serious about the entire thing – can you tell? Johnny was more into Dad’s tools!
I’m linking this post up to Science Sunday at Adventures in Mommydom.

We need to do this more. We always have some things that we are *going* to take apart, but somehow don’t actually get to it.

Too cool! I got to use tools with my Dad today too, LOL! Our dryer was making a crazy sound, so we took it apart and fixed a pulley thing. I was really proud of myself!

I had a blast with the kids, and they learned the names of the major components. It occupied them for nearly an hour!
I wish I lived near you so I could send my Son over at your house …you teach them so much everyday !! Great Idea!!
