I have always loved miniatures, so when Rolife asked if we wanted to review some of their miniature model kits I was happy to say yes!
Building Miniatures: Rolife Model Kit Review
What You'll Find on This Page
I actually reviewed Rolife’s detective agency kit a couple of years ago. I feel like these kits were easier to put together, which was very exciting! The book nook was the easiest to build, and we highly recommend it if you want to start off with a more user-friendly kit.
What Are Miniature Kits Like?

Miniature kits start off with a bunch of pieces – a few large, but mostly small – in a box. The pieces you see in the above photo are from Elsa’s Tailoring Shop kit.

You pop some of the pieces out to build things like this store stand from the chocolate shop kit.

The chocolate shop kit was definitely the fiddliest of the three kits we reviewed for this post. Check out these tiny model chocolates:

The chocolate shop kit is so complex that my 13yo is actually still working on it. I’ll update this posts with more photos once it is finished.
Building the Arcade Dating Rolife Book Nook Shelf Insert

The Arcade Dating book nook was the easiest to assemble, and our favorite once finished.

Its pieces snapped together very cleanly, and my 16yo (who was building it) loved all of the little details.

A miniature bookshop needs miniature books!

It’s fun to see the sets come together,

One detail at a time:

The lighting on this kit is also incredibly well designed.

Once everything is assembled, you tap a button on the front to turn the lights on and off.

Pure miniature magic!

Rolife Tailoring Shop Miniature Model Kit

Remember those pieces at the top of the post? I completed the tailoring shop miniature kit. It was more fiddly than my 16yo’s book nook, but very charming once assembled.
Which of these three miniature model kits would you choose? Have you ever built a Rolife miniature kit? What did you think?

I haven’t built one of those kits, but I have built a bookshop kit that I was given for my birthday. I’ve got another one that I bought recently and am looking forward to trying out soon.
I like the tailor’s shop, but that’s only because it’s a bit different from the other’s I’ve seen recently.
I built the tailor shop, and it was fiddly at times but fun, and I like how it turned out.
