Review: dENiZEN from LEVI’S

wearing dENiZEN jeans

I live in jeans. As a mom, they are comfortable and so forgiving of the many things my children manage to transfer to my clothing! Shopping for jeans, however, I do not like. It’s hard to find the right fit, and I’m at a height where the regular jeans are typically too short, and the “long” ones are too long. So when dENiZEN via Team Mom offered me a pair of dENiZEN by LEVI’s jeans to review, I was happy to accept them. Who would turn down a pair of jeans that FIT (they took my measurements to make sure they would work) that they don’t have to shop for?!

These are the most comfortable jeans I’ve owned! And they do fit! They are the perfect length! I like the color, and the design. I do wish they didn’t have wrinkle detailing on the front, and for some reason the pair I got have a scent, even after a couple washes. My guess is that it is some sort of fabric finish – it’s a scent I’ve think I’ve found on clothes before, but I prefer my clothing scent-free. I would also love the mid-rise height to be maybe a half inch higher, but that’s a small detail.

I like these jeans well enough that I’ve saved the tags so I can get another pair from the store without having to try them on. For $17.99-$29.99, I think they’re a good deal. You can learn more about dENiZEN jeans at their official site, and at Target.

  1. You are so cute modeling your jeans! I’m glad you liked them, we haven’t gotten ours yet but we requested a male pair so perhaps that’s why. I’d love a new pair but since I was pregnant when requests needed to be submitted I didn’t know what size I’d need. Although, I don’t know what Brad will say if they have any kind of scent to them.

    1. I hope you like yours! The scent on mine has faded, but it’s still there. Not sure how long it will take to wash out!

  2. Those look great on you! I’m with you about the mid rise, I prefer it right below my belly button. Sometimes the mid rise is too low cut for me. I don’t like them at my waist either. I guess I need to make my own rise jeans. LOL!

  3. Understand the not wanting to shop for jeans part! :) Must see to it how I could get around to those jeans but I’m in no hurry. I have yet to get rid of this belly. After four pregnancies it seems my skin has been expanded for good. How do you get so slender? I’m open for advice! :)

    1. The black t-shirt is deceiving. I still weigh nearly 15lbs more than I did before kids =-)

I think it’s mostly genetics, but I’ll share any secrets I come across! =)

  4. Those look great on you! So great that you like the fit, too. I often have the problem of jeans being too long on me because I’m so short!
