Review and Giveaway: Milos

This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations, Kelley and Malka!

Milos Karadaglic believes that the guitar is equal to other classical instruments as a solo instrument, and he has me convinced! I have always loved guitar, and even studied classical guitar for a year in college. I was blown away by Milos’s incredible technique, and even more impressed by his musicality. Any virtuosic guitarist can play technically challenging pieces, but in listening to music I always opt for musicality over technique. Milos has both the technique and the musicality.

Intrigued? If you “like” the official Milos facebook page, you get a free downlaod of “Tarrega: Recuerdos de la Alhambra”, one of the tracks from the album.

Universal sent me an advance copy of this album to review, and they are offering TWO copies to US readers of this blog (giveaway copies will be mailed out after the album is released, June 21st.) To enter, just leave a comment on this post telling me you would like to be entered. You can have an extra entry if you “like” the official Milos facebook page and leave a second comment telling me you have done this.

This giveaway will stay open through 9am US Eastern Time June 15th, when a winner will be chosen via random.org.

  1. Oh dear Marry Anne, this opportunity is coming in a great time.Thank you for the offer.
I’d love to win this CD!
I have learned to play guitar as a child and can relate to many of Milos’s childhood music challenges as I have also grown up in a communist regime.
My mother signed me up for classical guitar and just days before I was about to start my lessons we have learned the school closed as the teacher immigrated to England. I haven’t had a chance to study since . I have a guitar that’s collecting dust and since my son is 6 1/2 now, I have decided to start teaching him how to play the basics I know and hope, for some opportunity to arise, to fulfill my dream of learning classical and Spanish guitar after all. This would be a great inspiration to both me and my son.
I liked Milos’s FB page and treated myself to some of his youtube performances.
If I won’t win :( , may the lucky person enjoy this CD in good health!

  2. I also took a classical guitar class in college and would love to listen to this CD! Please enter me in the giveaway. Thanks!

  3. I also ” liked ” the official fan page, so I would like to be considered for two entries!!!
