We’ve used painter tape to build car roads before, but this was Lily’s first try. As you can tell, it was a hit! She has spent many hours driving her car along the road.
Do you have a favorite use for painter tape or masking tape?

I remember doing this with Bear the last time you posted about this:) That’s a great photo.
Lily is adorable and she is growing up so fast! :)
I have masking tape on our crafty ideas list – I’m thinking we’ll block out some shapes, get painting, then peel off the tape to see what we’ve created.
It’s a great idea to use it with kids.
This is a wonderful idea! I think both Jack and Jesse would enjoy this–thank you!
(thank you :-))

What a great idea! Our theme next week is cars, and I am sure my son would have a blast with this. Thanks for sharing.
How fun! Lily looks so beautiful and intent!
What a great idea – I’ll have to remember that one
That is a brilliant idea. This would have been so much fun when the kids were little. I’ll have to keep it in my brain for grandchildren down the road. Even the friends kids have gotten a little old to use this (sigh)
We have used painter’s tape in the past to help the girls with their shape recognition. I made large shapes and had them stand in them as a game. They could also count the sides.
So many great uses for painter’s tape! Thanks everyone for sharing your ideas!
I love using painter’s tape, especially during the winter! A few weeks ago we made a hopscotch grid with the tape. It had multi-uses. After my son tired out hopscotch, it turned into Monster Truck Shuffle board. :)
love, love this picutre. oh so sweet! xo
Lily looks so intent on driving his car. We only use masking tape in painting, but I keep wanting to make a city one of these days.
I make a “city” for my son with painter tape (or masking tape) – building blocks for high-rise buildings and he loves to drive his cars along the “roads”.

Fun idea!
You know I’ve never actually done that. I so should do it soon.
Great idea! The kids like making shields using masking tape, cardboard, and foil!
Love it!
My son is crzy about matchbox cars! will try it today. BTW Love your blog and ideas!
