March 2024 Monthly Goals

How did February Go?

What You'll Find on This Page

February started off with a lovely visit to LA to catch up with a friend. I actually managed to meet up with another friend while I was there, too! It was fun to just be a woman spending time with close friends for a couple of days. We went The Broad and a quilt show put on by the South Bay Quilters Guild.

I flew home and celebrated Emma’s 18th birthday. I can’t believe she is an adult! She is a pretty incredible grown-up, and I love having her in my life.

I enjoyed some time crafting and playing music. I didn’t blog. Our local community is dealing with a tragedy that led to a lot of grief and heartache this month.

Monthly Goals for March 2024

We are all ready for the hopefulness spring brings each year. Goals this month are simple:

  • Publish at least one other blog post. I have one nearly ready to go.
  • Keep crafting and playing music. These bring me joy.
  • Enjoy having a more established teaching rhythm. I teach for about ten hours a week, and that’s a manageable amount so far with other freelance work I juggle. We’ll see how well I manage to add in blogging until this round of teaching ends in June.
  • Buy plane tickets for my family to visit my parents this summer.

  1. I am sorry about what happened in your community – I read about that in the news. I feel like mental health of young people is very fragile due to so many factors and we all have to be watchful when we see someone struggle. But yay for spring – I hope you will get your goals for March done. And Happy Birthday to your firstborn!

  2. I’m sorry you’re dealing with tragedy in your city. Hopefully there is hope to be found in the grief.
Having adult children is such a weird idea to think of, and at times I find it so very hard to understand.
