Lily’s Baby

Lily with her crocheted baby

I crocheted this baby using the pattern in Amigurumi Two!: Crocheted Toys for Me and You and Baby Too. I saved myself some work by making the head and body one piece instead of two (I left off rows 25 and 26 of the head, added an extra row of 18 stitches, and then skipped rows 1 and 2 of the body). Lily says her baby is named “Baby”. He’s apparently a boy, despite the pink diaper. That’s what happens when your mommy is one year old and loves pink.

    1. Yes! The only thing I had ever made before trying amigurumi was a little coaster when I was twelve. You need some patience looking at pictures and possibly watching youtube videos, but it’s very do-able!

  3. I didn’t know you could crochet something so cute! I think I’ll look at that book you posted on your reading post since those hamsters look cute too.
