I love technology that makes it easier to be a parent, and Levana baby monitors do a great job of easing parent worries while a baby sleeps! Levana believes in helping parents “do more knowing your child is safe”, and their products were clearly built with this motto in mind. We were sent the Levana Ovia baby video monitor to review, and I am co-hosting a giveaway for three more of these baby monitors – be sure to enter via the rafflecopter form below if you would like to win one!
The Levana Ovia is the most high-tech baby video monitor I’ve seen. It even plays lullabyes, and you can speak to your baby through an intercom – very helpful if you have a child like my little Anna who will calm down and often go right back to sleep if they can hear your voice. You can pan, tilt, and zoom the camera, and it can record WITHOUT the ring of LED lights lighting up. Clearly Levana has heard of babies like my little nephew, who used to talk to the LED lights on his baby monitor instead of falling asleep! You can record video and snap photos, and the video is broadcast through a secure signal using ClearVu technology. The PTZ camera provides a clear view of your baby, even in the dark.
The monitor has pretty good image quality! Here you can compare the image of Anna’s little stuffed puppy on the monitor with a photo taken with my Canon 7D DSLR.
Levana also makes wireless movement monitors that would have helped me sleep much better if I had had one when my babies were newborns! You can see the full range of Levana’s safety products on their website, and follow them on Facebook to keep up-to-date with their newest products.
Are you interested in owning one of these baby monitors? Enter to win one in the rafflecopter giveaway below – and good luck!

So funny—I JUST sold my baby monitor yesterday on Craigslist lol. I had the Motorola which was pretty nice. We gradually stopped using it but definitely for those first few months we relied on baby monitors a lot.
