Emma made this adorable duck collage after perusing the (fun!!!) projects in The Fantastic Rainy Day Book, which we checked out of the library.
There is a duck collage in the book, which is what gave her the idea, but she took it and ran, turning it into a very cute and unique picture.
Johnny and Lily were fascinated – and inspired to create their own (much more abstract) masterpiece!

We love collages! My kids are fascinated by scissors, glue and paper!
She did an awesome job! That turned out really cute. :)
Adorable. Love the final collage, but also the children interacting with each other!

Looks like a fun book!
It’s the best kids craft book I’ve seen, so far – lots of fun ideas!
That’s a fabulous duck! :)
Thanks! I think it’s very cute =)
Love both of their creations!
Adorable!
Adorable! I just love her creativity =) The fact it is on it’s own little island is quite cute!
I love the little island, too =)
It’s amazing to see how crafty Emma got lately. She is definitely learning from everything you do together.
I’ve really enjoyed watching her come up with her own creative projects!
Love the duck! That’s so fun that the book inspired some creativity!
It is super cute! My kids love to cut paper up, but they don’t tend to then make it into something as much.
We definitely get lots of tiny pieces of paper around the house – especially from Johnny and Lily!
I love this page. Our baby is scribbling now but we encourage every drawing or painting.
Cute duck!
What a CUTE idea!
I love the pictures of the different interactions between your children. Lovely art-book connection.
