Johnny using tape to create dramatic play scenes with his cars
Bandaid psychology – Lily, examining two small scabs on her arm:
I need two bandaids. One here and one here. Because then I will have no more scrapes.
Looking at our bookshelves
Emma: Why do grown-ups have all these books, and they never read them?
Talking to Mike about crafting with recyclables:
Emma: Dada, did you know that we play with trash all day?!
Lily, singing:
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I know my ABCs.
Next time won’t you stay in your own bed,
Stay in your bed all night long,
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are.
Up a diamond in the sky,
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are.

I love these quotes! Thank you for sharing, Mary Anne! Btw, the Zauggs have been transferred to Vienna for the rest of their mission. How is K doing? Does she live closeby?
They’ve moved to Florida…
And she’s doing all right – pretty well, all things considered.
This is simply adorable! Love <3
I think our two boys would have so much fun together. I love Johnny’s combination of cars and sticky tape and I know that Blakie would also think this was awesome.
We play with lots of trash too :)
LOL about playing in the trash all day. I also love Lily’s song.
Too funny and so precious.
Sounds like Princess singing………
It’s always amusing what the kids relay to Jeff about how they’re doing.
“Play with trash all day” love that one!
Hahaha! Love the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!
Every time my kids use the tape, the roll comes back empty!
We buy tape in bulk at Costco…
Love how kids minds work!
My son regularly says, “Don’t see me!” when he is trying to do something I won’t approve of.
LOVE “Don’t see me!” :D
Precious! What a sweet song by Lily. :) I love Johnny’s love of danger – what a great scene with those cars. :) And what a brilliant use of the tape!
I love Lily’s lyrics. A budding mash-up artist of the first order.
*like* :D
Kids are so precious. Adults couldn’t think this stuff up. Isn’t if funny how if kids are hurt they cry until they get a band-aid and then magically they are all better.
Sooooooo cute!
