Have you ever had the zipper pull slide off of a zipper? This won’t happen with most clothing, because of how items are sewn, but it can be a common problem with zippers used to sew bags or clothing.
Sometimes you can just slide the zipper pull back on; this tutorial is for zippers that aren’t that cooperative.

If you can’t just thread the zipper pull on easily, the next step is to stretch out a couple of zipper teeth. These are easier to thread the pull through, and they can help guide it into place.

Notice that you don’t want to pull the zipper itself apart – you are just stretching out a couple of teeth. This can make the top of your zipper fray if it’s unfinished like mine.

Next, you gently thread the zipper pull onto these teeth. If you look closely, you’ll see them peaking through the top in the photo above.

Take your zipper pull and pull down. It should thread onto the teeth, and glide smoothly. If it doesn’t, just try again, You’ll get it eventually!
