I think breed is sooo important with hamsters. I had one years ago that bit like crazy, and it made me kind of sad. I don’t think I socialized regularly though either, so that probably aggravated the problem. He was fun to take care of though, and I enjoyed having a pet. I’ll be looking at the Russian breed next time if we ever decide to get one with our daughter!
