Halloween Craft: Kleenex Ghosts

Emma's kleenex ghost

Mike made these little Kleenex ghosts with the kids way back in January, but they make the perfect Halloween craft for kids! They are super simple: take two Kleenex, roll one into a ball to make the ghost’s head, stick it inside the second Kleenex, and tie shut with a bit of Kleenex ripped off the edge of the second Kleenex (white yarn works, too). Add a face with a ball point pen, and enjoy!

The kids thought these ghosts were a lot of fun! We’ll be making more this Halloween, for sure!

Doesn’t Lily look tiny? What a difference nine months makes!

What are your favorite quick and easy Halloween crafts and activities for kids? My kids also love making a wall of pumpkins and they are enjoying our Halloween countdown chain! If you want a sweet adaptation of this activity, wrap the kleenex around a Tootsie roll pop instead and you get a cute Halloween party favor or a fun treat to hand out to trick or treaters!

This is such a cute idea. I’m going to put one of these together for R to give him a giggle tomorrow. As always, adorable photos. I think you could quite possibly have the cutest kids ever! So, so sweet.

  3. Lily looks SO cute here! I also think that on the first two pictures Emma reminds me so much of Johnny… it never seemed so strong to me. I admire you, Mary Anne!

    1. Isn’t it funny how sometimes they look so much alike but a lot of the time they seem completely different?

      I admire you, Tara =)

  4. Those are really cute! We also do them with a kleenex over a tootsie pop. We made some last night for little goody bags for R to hand out. I just found your blog through the After School linky. Not this post, but you know. I’m looking forward to reading more of your posts! Thank you for sharing.

Such cute pictures! I’m also amazed how much my kiddos change. We’ll be making those this week for sure. I love easy crafts. :)

What a fun time capsule post to see your kids as they were nine months ago. It would be fun to see a series of these with your kids lined up against the wall in their pyjamas like this as the months fly by. So cute!
