Emma is all about foam stickers these days, so I thought it would be fun to let her use them to decorate this freebie backpack Mike got at one of the conferences he presented at. She really enjoyed picking stickers:
And putting them all over her backpack:
Several of them have fallen off by now, probably in part because the fabric is so slick. I think we could get them to stick by adding some craft glue, but for now I’ll just let her pick out new stickers to re-decorate.

Joe loves foam stickers! I like them because they are a bit hard to get the backs off meaning they have to work harder, meaning it keeps them occupied longer:-).
Emma looks precious with her decorated backpack in that last picture.

@Susana – I love foam stickers for the same reason!
Emma really is a cutie, isn’t she? We love foam stickers here too. Quite often that’s the best way to keep Matthew quiet in church, so I stock up on them whenever I can. They also work well for road trips. I don’t know why foam stickers are so much better than regular stickers, but around here they are definitely the favorites! It’s a great idea to use them to decorate the backpack!
My kids like foam stickers too. I often find them at the dollar store!!

Although I haven’t been able to comment on every post i was going through your past posts (haven’t been here for a bit since I haven’t had much available online time). Loving the ideas and activities you shared. I’ve marked down quite a few ideas! Thanks for sharing MaryAnne! :)

I like the last picture – Emma is so pretty. I joke sometimes that we have “a sticker inflation” – Anna always wants foam or other 3D stickers only.

Emma is looking like such a big girl!

@lynn – I agree, she is really growing up!
@Elisa – Emma has always had a very minimalist approach to decoration =)
@Elise – What a nice child-crafted gift idea for a friend!
Love the minimalist look. I can tell each sticker was chosen with care, as well as the placement. Very nice!!

I like the idea of using foam stickers to decorate items. One of Savvy’s favourite pressies she recieved for her birthday was a wooden box that her friend had painted and personlaised by using foam letter stickers to write Savanna’s name on the box. Her friend also added various other decorative stickers. Such a thoughtful and unique gift.
