When I saw these square felt farm animals at Little Family Fun I knew I’d found the perfect sewing project for Emma. We cut out all the animals several weeks ago, and now we finally finished the first one: this little duck!
This little guy was the perfect size to stuff into an envelope and send off to Emma’s beloved Aunt K., who lives and works on a ranch, as a belated birthday present. Emma was so proud of her first-ever hand-sewn gift, and she plans to make and send the rest of the animals soon!

What great sewing! I think I could make that too. Guess I should learn how to sew so I can teach my daughter how to do it.
