Felt Board Dress-up Bears

boy felt dress-up bear girl felt dress-up bear

I made these bears to go with this flannel board. They took almost no time to make and my daughter loves them. You can turn this activity into a game by putting pictures of the different outfits on cards (or just having colored cards in a container) and having your child put the outfit/color that matches the card they drew on their bear. Turn the dress into a skirt by cutting it in half.

Patterns for these bears are available as free downloads here. The faces on my bears were drawn on using a regular gel pen; a sharpie would work as well.

  1. Thanks! I’d been thinking about them for the past week or so, and I was really happy with how they turned out so I’m glad you like them too :)

  2. This is really cute!! You can also do “Teddy wore her ____dress” like Mary Wore Her Red Dress.Teddy wore her red dressred dressred dressTeddy wore her red dress to play today! You can also make a little weather window and outfits like a snow suit or raincoat and sing:What is the weather, weather weather, What does the weather bear say today? She says it’s (sunny/rainy/snowy etc. 3x so like sunny sunny sunny)That’s what the weather bear says today! Have fun! Here’s another dress up bear if someone likes the idea but doesn’t want to make one:http://www.funfelt.com/weather-teddy-bears.html
