I think it is important for kids to learn about the huge diversity in Africa by learning about the different countries, distinct cultures, and varied lifestyles there (urban vs rural for example). So many times we only hear one version of the &quot;story&quot; and kids slowly build stereotypes about the region. When in reality there are a million unique stories. I also love when we separate the countries instead of referring to the continent as if it would fit into one box. I love geography and learning about other cultures, and I can&#039;t wait to continue following this series. I truly believe that kids who are culturally competent will grow into compassionate global citizens as adults!]]></description>
