Free Printable Dragon Game for Kids
What You'll Find on This Page
I had fun putting together this free printable dragon game for my kids to play after reading this book!
I created four of each color dragon, so that the cards can be used to play Go Fish. Although, in this case, I suppose it’s Go Quest?
My five-year-old and her friend actually prefer to use the dragons to play made-up games. It’s great storytelling practice.
You can use the cards to play a color matching game with young children, as well as memory. For memory, try matching all four of each color, or dividing the cards into two sets where you race against another person to make your matches as quickly as possible.
I recommend printing this out double siding, and also laminating this printable for durability.
This is a kind of large file, so I posted it as a free download in my Teachers Pay Teachers store, instead of hosting it here on my blog.
I’d love to hear how you use these cards! Share in the comments below, on my Facebook page or by tagging me on Twitter or Instagram.

I’m a big fan of GO Fish variations for a quick game to keep little kids engaged.
This version has been very popular with my kids! They like the dragons and the fact that the cards are quite small.
