I made this little airplane using the pattern in Amigurumi Two! I’ve made several projects from this book now, and they are all simple and cute. I added a little bell into the middle of the propeller to turn it into a rattle.

That is too cute! I absolutely love it! Makes me wish I had more time to crochet…or fewer projects I’m already trying to finish before my baby is born. :) I’m still trying to finish her baby blanket – I’m sure you’ll see me working on it this weekend!
I crocheted baby blankets for Emma and Johnny, but poor Lily never got one!
You are seriously one talented mama!!!!
Thank you!
Mike’s comment is funny :-). Awesome as ever, Mary Anne!
So cute! The bell is a genius idea!
Sweet!
Adorable! I never would of thought of an airplane.
This is so adorable! Have you ever thought about opening your own etsy shop? You are so talented!
The perfect vehicle for flying the friendly skies! Love that you cleverly included a bell as well.
That’s adorable! I think it is my favorite of the crocheted toys you’ve made.
Thanks!
What a clever idea to put a bell in. Crocheted toys are so cute.
I don’t know about its aerodynamic qualities, but that is a very happy little airplane!
The non-moveable propeller might present some complications as well…
