Creativity for Kids Party!

creativity for kids party

My kids were SUPER excited to host a bunch of Emma’s friends for a Creativity for Kids party at our house! We were sent a fantastic array of craft supplies, which arrived in two colorful boxes that had my kids dancing and leaping for joy before they were even opened:

Decorating these bags was an easy way to open the party! I was impressed with the range of designs that the girls came up with. Even Johnny managed a somewhat boyish design on a pink bag (the paw in the lower left corner)

The pop art necklaces were a huge hit – simple to put together, and very pretty. This is probably the craft I am most likely to repeat at a future party:

One of the fun parts of the party for me was listening in on the crafting chatter:

We sent very happy little girls home with a coloring and ARTivity book and Rhinestone Ring Mini Kits – in addition to the crafts they made at our house! My kids really enjoyed making rhinestone rings after the party (although Johnny had a hard time making them look un-girly, and eventually gave up), and this is another activity I would definitely consider for a future party!

  1. I am not so naturally creative so kits sound wonderful to me. My kids love sinking their teeth into any and all projects. My favorite would have to be baking though :)

    1. These kits are fantastic, because they come with absolutely everything you need (even scissors and glue, if required for the project).

The party looks and sounds like a lot of fun! So cute to hear them talking about London! :)

      1. I also thought it was pretty funny that Emma said she remembered being in London – she was at most 9 months old!

  3. I’m thinking I might do something like this for Wendy’s birthday party this year. That is if she’s still not obsessed with a “tea party like Mommy” had.

    1. It was really fun – and simple with the Creativity for Kids kits. I highly recommend the pop art necklaces – very easy for kids to make and the girls LOVED them.
