My kids were SUPER excited to host a bunch of Emma’s friends for a Creativity for Kids party at our house! We were sent a fantastic array of craft supplies, which arrived in two colorful boxes that had my kids dancing and leaping for joy before they were even opened:
Decorating these bags was an easy way to open the party! I was impressed with the range of designs that the girls came up with. Even Johnny managed a somewhat boyish design on a pink bag (the paw in the lower left corner)
The pop art necklaces were a huge hit – simple to put together, and very pretty. This is probably the craft I am most likely to repeat at a future party:
One of the fun parts of the party for me was listening in on the crafting chatter:
What are your favorite party crafts? Do you have a favorite Creativity for Kids kit?
Thank you to Faber-Castell’s Creativity for Kids for providing the supplies for this party through MomSelect.

This is great–you can tell how much fun they were all having. It brought a smile to my face.
Oh this is totally fun!
I’m going to have to check out that box of goodies! :)
Fun in a box! I love that Johnny made things his own, but are there kits that are more “boy?”
They actually make a great line of “boy” kits: http://www.fabercastell.com/creativity-for-kids/products/categories/boy-zone
I love this idea. Perfect party activity.
I am not so naturally creative so kits sound wonderful to me. My kids love sinking their teeth into any and all projects. My favorite would have to be baking though :)
These kits are fantastic, because they come with absolutely everything you need (even scissors and glue, if required for the project).
Looks like a fantastic party! I can only imagine how much fun those girls had.
This sounds wonderful and perfect for your creative kids! Johnny’s design cracked me up.
It was a lot of fun, and definitely perfect for my kids!
The party looks and sounds like a lot of fun! So cute to hear them talking about London! :)
The kids had so much fun! And I loved hearing them talk :)
I also thought it was pretty funny that Emma said she remembered being in London – she was at most 9 months old!
What fun! I love the pop art necklace.
Those necklaces are very fun – definitely THE hit of the party!
This looks so fun! I have a bunch of crafty kids (go figure) and they would love something like this. Love Creativity for Kids kits. Vicky from http://www.messforless.net
Those crafts are great! I’ve never heard of Creativity for Kids before–very cool!
I’m thinking I might do something like this for Wendy’s birthday party this year. That is if she’s still not obsessed with a “tea party like Mommy” had.
It was really fun – and simple with the Creativity for Kids kits. I highly recommend the pop art necklaces – very easy for kids to make and the girls LOVED them.
