Christmas baby shoes

Christmas shoesLily in her Christmas shoes

My grandma sent me these adorable baby shoes for Lily that she made from a pattern my cousin designed, and with some help from my aunt’s amazing embroidery sewing machine. I hope I can be like my grandma, learning new things throughout my life. Most of all, I wish I lived close enough to join their baby bootie making parties, or at least for Sunday dinner!

Can someone please invent teleportation?

  1. Yeah your back! What beautiful booties! I can tell they will be a treasured family heirloom! If your cousin is willing to share the pattern I would love to give those a try. My sister is expecting this spring!

  2. what a adorable booties! I enjoy crocheting but can’t do the sewing yet. I want to, but need an instructor. Those are just adorable. Not to mention the bootie model is pretty cute too!

  3. Gorgeous booties – I love the contrast of the red against Lily’s dress. Grandma Chris sent a pair of these for Leila, too. I didn’t realize, though, that she made them.

  4. Gorgeous shoes! Not quite as gorgeous as their wearer, though! Oh for a machine that does more than a straight and zigzag stitch. And yes, yes, please for heaven’s sake, someone invent teleportation. Like now.
