Calendar matching game

calendar matching game

We took our 2009 calendar and cut out the big pictures and the little ones from the back of the calendar to make a matching game. Not an original idea – I’m sure I’ve seen it somewhere in blogland and I remember doing it as a kid as well – but simple, fun, and a good opportunity to talk about scale (in very simple terms).

Great idea! Nikki often does this sort of thing with children’s books that have pictures of the book you’re reading plus others in that series.

The pictures you chose are lovely.

  3. Oh, I love this! I don’t have a calendar, but I’m going to do this with printed images. Thanks for the idea.
