Cathy James is one of my favorite bloggers, so I was honored when she invited me to contribute an idea to a book she was compiling of play ideas for babies and toddlers aged zero to two. The book is finished, and it is beautiful! Cathy did an incredible job of compiling everyone’s ideas, complete with stunning photos! You can get a sneak peak at some of the contents in this book trailer:

This book features contributions from many of my favorite bloggers, with activities for babies of ALL ages – even newborn – that get your child exploring the world using their five senses! Some activities are messy, and others are mess-free. Some activities are games you play with your child, while others are designed to encourage your child to explore the world on their own. There is something there for everyone, and since it is an ebook you can store it on your phone or tablet for quick reference on one of those sleep-deprived days.

  1. Congrats on being in her book! You have wonderful ideas for play and learning so I am not surprised!!! I look forward to reading her book though it’s been a long time since I had a baby in the house!

  2. That’s great you’re part of this collection, MaryAnne! With my first kid I borrowed a book about baby play and did a few (of course it’s been a while so now I forgot! lol). With my twins, they love peek a boo of course, and playing with boxes of little toys.
