I’ve seen several “I Spy” activities for toddlers across the blogosphere recently. Here are some of my favorites:
- Two “I Spy” game boards from The Peterson Party – one 2D and one 3D.
- Beautiful round “I Spy” bags from Ikat Bag – I love the picture list she created for non-readers.
- Another “I Spy” bottle from Having Fun at Home. This one comes with the list of things to find.
Have an “I Spy” craft on your blog that I missed? Please link to it in the comments – I’d love to see it!

Ok – it’s just that I so rarely see anyone with a similar name to mine – I’m Mary Anna – one name, two words. Never seen a MaryAnne, One word 2 capitals before. >>Cute blog!
Thanks for these ideas. I had just saved a big plastic jar to make an I Spy jar for sunnyboy after seeing one recently. I also like the bag you linked to which is so simple but as effective as the sewn ones I have seen before. This is something I’m definitely going to try too.
I should try some of these crafts. I made an i-spy quilt for my son while I was pregnant, and he loves it. It’s really big, and I bury him in it when we go for walks in the cold, or lay it out on the floor and play on it. Each square repeats twice so we can play a matching game with it too. If I’m doing this right, you can see a photo < HREF="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_XxRqu7ghvUc/SYSCUHZ42AI/AAAAAAAAADE/0oUg70BQNos/s1600-h/ispy.jpg" REL="nofollow">here<>.
I made a travel size I spy board that I keep in the diaper bag. I call out items for Bear to find. It is double sided. You can see the post about it here: http://theadventuresofbear.blogspot.com/2009/03/i-spy-board.html>>I love the three dimensional board too.
