Back to Pink

We had our ultrasound this morning, and it looks like we’re having a girl! I’m very excited to have another little girl to dress up in pink, purple, and frilly things. I think Emma will enjoy having a baby sister. I’m also glad that Johnny gets to stay my baby boy, I wasn’t quite ready for him to grow up that much so soon…

Got any favorite names for a girl? We’re still stuck…

  1. Congratulations! I’m thrilled for you. Of course, I’m thrilled no matter what you’re having. :) I must admit that decorating girls is great fun!

  2. Congratulations! I know now firsthand what fun baby girls are so I’m super excited for you! I agree that you should try Nymbler for names. It’s so fun you could get lost playing there for hours. Can’t wait to ‘meet’ your baby girl a few months from now! Let me know if you need any hand-me-downs!

  3. Congratulations! We will be finding out March 18. I am hoping that when we see the baby in the ultrasound, it will become perfectly obvious what the child’s name should be–because we’re having a little trouble with it now!I love the name Willow for a girl. We are thinking of going with Ivey if we have a girl, but it’s not set in stone. I really love the name Willa too, but not for us. A lot of our family and friends would probably ask “Willer? You mean like a Willer tree?”

  4. CongratsHmmmm Emma – love that name – oh too late – you already used it lolRachel, Charlotte, Abigail, Vivian, Miriam, Grace, Sophie, Lucy, Georgia…….Ann @ moremomtime

  5. Congratulations! Rachel is a favorite of mine and my husband’s (long story why we didn’t use it). The names we DID use: Heidi, Sophie, and Lucy. (SophiE, not SophiA!)A site I LOVE for names is < HREF="http://www.nymbler.com/" REL="nofollow">nymbler.com<>. You type in names you like and it gives you names that are in some way similar (same origin, same popularity, who knows what else). For example, after typing in “Emma” and “Johnny”, I saw two that I really liked on the first screen: Charlotte and Betsy. (You can just hit Next for more and more and more…)Anyway, check it out! It’s loads of fun for naming inspiration!

  6. Congratulations!! Yay for more frilly clothes! I’m partial to Abigail and Elizabeth for names, hee hee :-) Other favorites are Mary, Jane, Evelyn, Vivian, Eloise… I had the hardest time naming both of my girls because I liked too many names :-)
