Easy Christmas Cards Kids Can Make

2011_12_09_1922

My kids have been thoroughly enjoying all the cards they have received through The Toybox Years Kiddie Christmas Card Exchange. They have been hard at work making cards to send off, which I have to finish mailing by the end of the day today! It’s fun to see all the different cards they receive, and they get to send cards as far as Australia, South Africa, and Singapore!

I was trying to think about the best way to set up Christmas cards for the kids to make, and I decided to use foam stickers was the best solution for my kids, this year. They drew on most of the cards as well, but they adore foam stickers, so this was a quick way to get them started on the project!

Have your kids ever participated in a card exchange? This is our first!

  1. We made Christmas cards for her classmates. It started as her making a card for her one best friend and teachers. Then the list grew bigger, and I knew we couldn’t leave some kids in the class off the list, so we ended up making almost 30 kids. She loved the whole process and never grew bored.

  2. I swear I am the worse mailing mom ever. My kids love to write letters to their cousins and friends…but when it comes to getting them in the mail…I fail…luckily my older ones take over now!

What a great idea! My kids would love that! I’m guessing it might be too late this year, but I’ll go check it out!

  4. What a great experience. We aren’t participating in anything like that, but my girls loving checking the mail right now to see who has sent us cards.
