admiring an inch-long inchworm
Watching a flock of migrating geese cross the sky:
Johnny: Hi Birdies! Hi Birdies!
Emma, talking to her friend A:
A: What does your shirt say?
Emma: Smile! Smile, smile, smile! That means you should smile on those days, when I wear this shirt!
At the dinner table:
Mike/Dada: Lily, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Lily: A Princess!
Johnny: Oh yeah! Like Mama was a princess when she got married!
Emma, explaining to Johnny why only girls wear makeup:
It makes girls look prettier, like boys. You look pretty.

Awww, those are so cute!
I love your blog! :) I hope you don’t mind that I became a follower of your blog! :) Erin
Welcome, and thanks for following! Off to check out your blog =)
Hmmm, I was not aware that girls wore make-up in order to look as pretty as the boys. Now it all makes sense! :) These are super-cute pics!
I was wondering what everyone was looking at in that first photo – now I know from the comments!
The photo of Lily is adorable, but when her mummy was a princess on her wedding day what else would you expect? Little boys say the sweetest things to their mummy’s (little girls do too!)
So sweet that mommy was a princess when she got married! I think Smile shirts should be worn every day. :)
It would make the world a happier place =)
I love watching inchworms. Did you make Lily’s hat? Both it and she are gorgeous! Emma’s explanation of makeup is hilarious, and Johnny is so articulate now!
This inchworm was a lot of fun! My aunt made Lily’s headband (looks like a hat in that photo). I want to learn how to make one like it!
Johnny’s speech has improved by leaps and bounds this fall – so wonderful to see!
Love the pictures! The last quote made me laugh, so cute!
They are so sweet!
I can’t decide if Lily looks more like Emma or Johnny in this picture. You can tell they’re all siblings!
Lily is definitely a combination of Emma and Johnny!
I love her smile quote
I love that picture of Lily!
That is one of the cutest pictures ever of Lily! In the top picture we are looking at a little inchworm (caterpillar of the geometer moth) that I found on our leaf blower bag. The kids thought it was really funny how it inches along.
Oh yeah, I was supposed to type that under the picture. It’s there now, simplified a bit =)
