Banana treat

Emma got the idea for this activity off of the Nick Jr. website, and she told me how to do it. I think she saw a video of how to do it. You cut a banana in half, add craft sticks, dip in yogurt, and cover with a topping (we used crispy rice cereal).

Think she’s got a future running a cooking show? We made these twice today, but while she was immensely proud of the finished product both times she only ate a couple tiny bites of each banana…

  1. @Valerie – Yep, that’s Nutella, and you’re right, it tastes fantastic on bananas! I haven’t let Emma in on that secret yet, though ;)

I think we used blueberry yogurt the first time and strawberry the second. Tastes good both ways. It’s blueberry for the photo, I think.

Is that Nutella I see in the background?? Forget the yogurt, cover that banana in NUTELLA!!! :-)

That does look mighty tasty though. I bet Emily would love it! Did you use strawberry yogurt?

  3. How creative! That does look mighty tasty! I wish this computer was scratch-n-sniff! ;)
