Room for a Little One by Martin Waddell

I’ve been a fan of Martin Waddell for a long time, and Room for a Little One did not disappoint. Waddell’s text is simple yet beautiful as always, and he has introduced me to yet another fantastic illustrator in Jason Cockcroft! I especially liked the way Waddell tied the nativity story together with Isaiah 11:6 (the lion and the lamb verse).

Christmas Is Here

Christmas Is Here is another unique nativity story, using only text from the King James Bible. A child’s visit with their family to a live nativity transports them back to Bethlehem. We all enjoyed both the text and illustrations.

  2. Okay if you have a silhouette I’m very jealous, it’s on my Christmas wish list……..

And that’s another Christmas book I’ll have to be on the lookout for.

  3. What a wonderful roundup of Christmas resources! I still love that silhouette nativity in felt!!
