Tree Bowls!

tree bowls made from a pattern by Katherine at One Inch World

These fun tree bowls were one of the sewing projects I completed instead of packing for our trip! They are made usingĀ One Inch World pattern I was lucky enough to test! I chose to use a bunch of different materials to see how it would turn out. Emma deemed the light brown felt version the best, and picked it for herself. Johnny picked the green one because he loves green. I think the green one would have fared better with thicker interfacing, but Johnny likes it this way because it makes a soft hat (which in turn makes him look a bit like the Statue of Liberty…) Lily was perfectly happy with the dark brown cuddly fleece one, which was my personal favorite. Which one do you like best?

Want to make some? You can find the pattern at the One Inch World etsy shop!

  1. Now I get to see the picture! :-) Hmm. With the roots all curling the same direction I think I should change the pattern title to amigurumi squid, and add some little eyes and a mouth on one side…

    1. @Katherine Hehe they don’t always curl the same way like that… They would make some cute squid, though =)

I love it that they each picked different favourites – no fighting. :) The brown fleecy one gets my vote.
