I love Costco. We buy everything from fruit, milk, and diapers to computers, cameras, and even sewing machines there. In fact, we go there so often that “Costco” was the first word Emma learned to read and spell! So, I was thrilled to get a Costco gift pack of summer snacks from General Mills via MyBlogSpark! We’ve been buying the fruit rolls for nearly a year now, and I always keep them in my diaper bag as snacks for the kids. I love that they are 90% fruit. They are somewhat sticky, and if they get warm they are nearly impossible to eat – so if they get warm (say, from sitting in the car) you’ll need to cool them down again before eating them. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised by the (also somewhat sticky) chewy trail mix bars we received. The peanut flavor was subtle (I don’t like bars with a super-strong peanut flavor), and Emma and Johnny really liked them. I also received a $25 Costco gift card, which we spent on groceries Saturday. =)

General Mills and MyBlogSpark have a second “Costco Sunny Day Snacks” prize pack (including packages of the Nature Valley Chewy Trail Mix Bars (48 ct.) and Simply Fruit Roll-Ups (42 ct.), and a $25 Costco gift card) to give to a reader of this blog with a US address. To enter, just tell me what healthy snack you would buy at Costco with your gift card!

  1. I subscribe via email—but, I can’t activate it because feedburner isn’t sending out activation emails :(

I’d stock up on Nature Valley Roasted Cashew Granola Nut Clusters :) *Thanks* for the giveaway!

  4. The better question is what I *wouldn’t* buy at Costco – like you, we are addicts :-) My kids’ favorite Costco snacks are the Annie’s bunnies, those Kirkland animal crackers, the Babybel Cheeses, the Yoplait Simply Go-Gurts… Gosh, I could keep going! I lurve Costco :-)

  5. My son loves the organic animal crackers and any type of fruit. :) What an awesome giveaway – thanks! :)

  6. I would use the gift card to buy my favorite fruit: pineapples, oranges, apples, pears, cantaloupes, and watermelon.

  8. My kids love the fruit bites. They are basically an all fruit fruit snack. We stocked up when Costco had them on coupon and my Costco no longer carries them. I only have one package left so I will need a new favorite to get the kiddos through the summer!

  9. Those fruit roll-ups sound great! I have never even seen the all natural ones around here! I always buy fruit for our healthy snacks. :)

  10. I love Costco! We shop at least once a month and sometimes more often. We just picked up a box of the Simply Fruit roll-ups last trip and the girls love them. I love that there are NO artificial colors or artificial flavors.

As for what I’d buy, hmm… I think I’d pick up some of the Annie’s bunny crackers if I won the gift card and food package. :)
