Happy Baby Anna
Putting together a dinosaur puzzle:
Emma (6 years old): Woah, that dinosaur is eating another dinosaur!
Johnny (4 years old): He’s a bad guy.
Emma: No, he’s just making a bad choice.
Johnny, writing capital and lowercase letters:
This is loud “A” and this is quiet “a”.
Preparing for Christmas…
Emma: How about we just make one big Christmas list [for all four kids]. Then Santa Claus can just guess who wants what!
Johnny (after rejecting the dinner choices): I want you to feed me something that is healthy what I like. There’s lots of things what are healthy what I like.
Emma: Like what?
Johnny: Water.
Johnny (talking to me): Anna likes you a lot. When I was a baby, I liked you a lot.
Me: Do you like me now?
Johnny: Yes, but only a little.

I love the loud A and quiet a description. :)
So cute! So Johnny is a picky eater? He and Anna can get along just fine :)
Very picky. Maybe he’ll get the chance to meet Anna, sometime soon :)
Water! I guess someone is going through a picky phase!
Sadly, water has always been his food of choice…
Awesome! So very funny. The “bad choice” one cracked me up.
Love it! Kids are much more interesting than adults.
Ah! So cute! I love the last one!
One year the name tags on our presents got mixed up so Mom had to guess which present was for who. It made for an interesting Christmas…….
Maryanne, these are HILARIOUS! I literally laughed out loud with these snippets.
The last one is my favorite ;)
Your kids are so adorable. I love how the dinosaur made “a bad choice.” Good modeling of words mom!!
Emma’s quote is terrific!!! Life is all about our choices. And I love that photo of your adorable Anna.
LOVE the dinosaur puzzle quote!
I love your kids quotes! So hard to pick a favorite but I absolutely love, “he just making a bad choice.”
Adorable! I love when children talk – they come up with the greatest lines!
Ha! Only a little! Too funny.
Only a little? Too funny!
Yep! I feel so loved :P
These are awesome!
This is some good stuff! No wonder “Mama Smiles!” :)
I must start recording a few of my kids little sayings and re-worked words. Thanks for the timely reminder!
Ha ha ha ha! Oh, MaryAnne, your kidquotes are the best!!!
I love that you record their quotes like this! Emma’s ‘he’s just making bad choices’ is a gem ~ some wonderful parenting reflected there!!
Thank you, Kelly!
