Halloween crafts

googley-eyed play dough

Adding googly eyes to play dough is a favorite way to create monsters in our house! My favorite method is sticking eyes randomly into the center of a ball of play dough, and then seeing how many different surprise monsters are created as the eyes emerge!

Looking for other Halloween crafts? My kids love their decorate-able monsters and the no-sew ghost hand puppet we made!

Do you have a favorite kid craft for Halloween?

  1. Oh, thank you for reminding me about this! I’d been meaning to do this with Jack and forgot–adding it to my mental list (and hoping I don’t forget again) for next week. He will love it!

    @Two Chicks and a Hen – It’s a lot of fun!

    @Ticia – That’s my favorite, it’s just cool to see what sorts of monsters you get as the eyes randomly appear!

    I love it! My daughter is looking at the photo right now asking to do it. I’ve never thought of doing anything like this before.
