Emma Quotes: Crazy Vegas

Emma

Upon our arrival in Vegas (way back in April):
Mama, this place looks like a crazy place!

Reading the water landing section of the airplane safety brochure on the same trip:
Mama: This teaches you how to stay safe.
Emma: No, it’s about swimming.

To Mike, as he’s leaving for work:
Dada, you have to tell your work friends that I know how to do somersaults!

Writing her friends’ names:
Emma:
Mama, how do you spell Claire?
Mama: C-L-A-I-R-E
Emma: That’s a pretty short name. It’s shorter than Emma.
Mama: Are you sure? How many letters are there?
Emma: one, two, three, four, five six.
Mama: So it’s longer than Emma, because Emma has four letters and Claire has six, and four is smaller than six.
Emma: No. I wrote the letters very small, so it is shorter than Emma.

  3. Too funny about the last one – that’s pretty much how Anna explained her reasoning for May being the shortest month of the year :) Great quotes.

Love these – especially the discovery that the length of names is entirely dependent upon letter size. :)

  5. So cute! My Emma told me last night that God didn’t answer prayers. I became quite concerned and told her yes He does. Then she said, “But I prayed and asked Joshua to stop fighting with me but he didn’t stop!” Hmmm…trying to figure out how to explain this one!
